Stat Types
Stats modifiers are an out-of-character mechanic used to increase odds while dice-rolling. A higher modifier will improve the odds of rolling successfully. When dice-rolling, choose the stat type that best fits with the action or effect you intend.

Health — the amount of hits / damage a character can receive before becoming incapacitated. When a character reaches 0 health during combat, they must immediately flee, become incapacitated, become unconscious, or can remain conscious but unable to continue fighting, and are unable to resist actions made against them.

Agility — actions that rely on speed, agility, meticulous or precise movements
  • Using speed to move out of the way (dodging)
  • Using speed to react or avoid damage
  • Navigating unstable or difficult terrain
  • Sneaking, hiding, stalking, or being undetected
  • Aiming projectiles
  • Avoiding traps
  • Balancing
Strength — actions that rely on power, force, or brute strength.
  • Using strength to physically block an action or effect (blocking)
  • Shoving, tackling, pulling or climbing
  • Physically resisting damaging effects, elements, poisons, or weather
  • Endurance, long distance running or flying, holding breath
  • Protection given by armor
  • Lifting heavy objects
Charisma — actions that rely on charm, personality, or social skills
  • Deceive, fool, lie, or mislead
  • Perform, inspire, convince, or persuade
  • Communicate, intimidate, threaten, reassure, or empathize
  • Command a Familiar
Intellect — actions that rely on observation, study, or keen knowledge.
  • Cooking or brewing food, drink, potions, or tonics
  • Identify herbs, plants, poisons, and remedies
  • Give first aid, treat wounds, create or identify medicine
  • Identify or gather details about surroundings or others
  • Observe things that are hidden or obscured
  • Tracking (without being stealthy), navigating trails and terrain
  • Reading / writing messages or maps
  • Identify seasons, flora, fauna, and weather patterns

After finishing (and exiting) a thread, visit the Experience Claim in your UserCP to claim experience. Your stats will be automatically updated as you progress.

Visit the Experience Claim as soon as you join to immediately unlock start-up Health for your character.
  • Adult / Elder characters will be given 2 Health to start via the Experience claim.
  • Youth / Teen characters will be given 1 Health to start, via the Experience claim.
  • All characters begin with +0 in all modifiers
